Comey: Trump Is 'Unfit' to Be President

Opponents have suggested Mr Comey was dismissed because he was leading the investigation into alleged links between Mr Trump's campaign team and Russia.

The RNC effort was launched in advance of a media blitz by Comey that began on Friday morning (Saturday NZT) as ABC News aired segments of a longer interview scheduled for Sunday night (Monday NZT).

"Slippery James Comey, a man who always ends up badly and out of whack (he is not smart!), will go down as the WORST FBI Director in history, by far!" They must cast aside politics for principle. I was writing about peer pressure. That something really important just happened and that I was a little - another one of those outta-body experiences, like, 'Really? "And the next hour or so was terrifying and life-changing", Comey said. In it, Comey wrote that Trump, in a private meeting, pressed the then-FBI director for his loyalty.

Hillary Clinton says Comey cost her the White House by reopening the Clinton email investigation just 11 days before the 2016 election. "In fact, though I didn't know for sure, I imagined the presidential suite of the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow was large enough for a germaphobe to be at a safe distance from the activity". Comey said he believes the president is a liar and is morally unfit for office.

His explosive interview on the US 20/20 program comes after US President Donald Trump went on a pre-emptive Twitter tirade overnight calling James Comey a liar and a "slime ball".

Mr Trump also accused Mr Comey of giving up classified information, lying to congress and not confiscating the Democratic National Committee's server during the FBI's probe.

He replied: "I don't remember spelling it out, but it had to have been". "I was a senior in high school, 5'10", healthy boy", he added. It came ahead of the widely anticipated release of Comey's book, "A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership".

"I panicked at first, and started to pray".

"The challenge of this President is that he will stain everyone around him". "I don't buy this stuff about him being mentally incompetent or early stages of dementia". I see parents talking to their kids about truth telling and prejudice and bias and respect. But what he has to say tells us something about the current president. We didn't care what he took.

"There was nothing she said that [FBI investigators] believed we could prove was false", he said. "All lawyers are deflated and concerned!"

He was never a prevaricator, duplicitous, a member of a crime family, or an SOB, as some pundits have deemed him.

The ABC News/Washington Post poll shows that 48 per cent of the public has more trust in Comey than Trump at 32 per cent. That's just not true.

Comey said it was possible, too, that the Russians might have material that could be used to blackmail Trump. "It would depend. upon other things that reflected on his intent". Peter, who is two years younger, climbed out the window first, with Comey following, Comey recalled.

But he said he isn't hoping for Trump's impeachment because that would "let the American people off the hook". His neighbor's Siberian husky intervened, however, alerting the dog's owner.

Democrats and liberals overwhelmingly find Comey more believable; independents and moderates side with Comey as well, by 48-29 and 57-22 per cent, respectively.

He said: "Possibly. I mean, it's certainly some evidence of obstruction of justice". Instead, it was reminiscent of "the loyalty oaths, the boss as the dominant center of everything". The Comey boys and the coach ran into the Comey's house to call the police.
