Malcom dreams of Premier League but remains unsure of future

Tottenham are attempting to hijack Arsenal's bid to land Bordeaux winger, Malcom.

"Yes, but he has been linked with different clubs", he said when it was pointed out the forward known for his pace was available. However, Tottenham are also open to the possibility of signing the 20-year old now and sending him out on loan until the end of the season at Bordeaux, to help them in their Ligue 1 relegation battle. "I don't want to speak about players that are in other clubs", the Argentine coach explained referring to Tottenham's interest in Malcom".

The Red Devils were rumoured to be the favourites in the initial stages of the transfer window, after that it was reported that the Gunners were closing in on a move as they had identified the Brazilian winger as an ideal replacement for United bound Alexis Sanchez. Malcom is a potentially VERY exciting signing, even if he's on the bottom edge of his development curve.

If Tottenham are pushing to sign Malcom, it remains to be seen whether Arsenak rekindle their interest to stop the Brazilian joining their rivals.

"No agreement has yet been formally reached but there is an expectation that a deal will be reached". And his dream is to play in Manchester United. I don't know where they're going to hurt Palace.

"I am always conscious about that, always you need to improve and you must improve every day".

So at first blush this looks like a potentially lovely GAZUMPING of the Gunners, but it might not be as #banteriffic as that.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan could also be set to arrive at the Emirates as part of the deal taking Sanchez to Old Trafford. "Because if we have 25 senior player it is so difficult to find the space and provide the younger ones the space to play".

"We never had a discussion with Arsenal".

Arsenal are currently preparing for their home Premier League clash against Crystal Palace in front of their home fans on Saturday afternoon.
