Kendall Jenner Responds to Critics of Her Acne at Golden Globes

09 Enero 2018

No one's going to stop Kendall Jenner from having a good time.

Though she was there for Vogue to support working women and pay her respects to the #TimesUp Movement, which was founded to combat sexual harassment and gender inequality in the workplace, some internet trolls unfortunately used the opportunity to poke fun of her visible acne marks instead. Page Six reports that the model debuted a noticeably larger pout at the Golden Globes, stirring up speculations that she had lip fillers injected recently.

Jenner has been open about her skin struggles for years.

Over time, Jenner regained her confidence and grew to embrace her acne."Even after things started to clear up, it took a solid amount of time to be okay with my skin and gain back my confidence", she wrote. In a 2015 post on her now-defunct website, Jenner revealed that she started breaking out when she was 13.

"Where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it. It completely ruined my self-esteem". "I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face". I hate talking about that family, but I am gonna say it, she has definitely had something done to her lips. We're so here for Jenner showing people that acne is 100-percent normal.

She added, "I realized that it's a part of life for some people and it doesn't define who you are".
