Bannon steps down from Breitbart News after break with Trump

14 Enero 2018

Bannon's next step remained unclear yesterday, though most news reports suggested he has no political future.

"Steve Bannon and I. We both ended up pissing off a lot of people".

On Tuesday, Breitbart News announced that Steve Bannon would no longer be an executive chairman of the company.

Most likely, you had an opinion about a year ago, when Donald Trump was sworn in as our 45 President.

Ideologically attached to billionaire, his fate began to decay in White House. On Wednesday, Jan. 3, several quotes from Bannon critical of the Trump administration in Michael Wolff's "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" were released.

Bannon's public roasting isn't just fun. You will believe what you will believe, and the stories detailed in Fire and Fury will change exactly nobody's mind.

IN HIS own way, Bannon is just as much of a con artist as the president. "So, is this fake news?" the man asked. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., said last August that Trump lacked "the stability" and "some of the competence" to be successful as president.

Dubbing Bannon "unemployed", Corden proceeded to show a recent photograph, in which Bannon appears in casual clothing. In a statement last week, Rebekah Mercer, a minority stakeholder in Breitbart, said her family hasn't communicated with Bannon "in many months" and provided "no financial support to his political agenda".

Trump, answering questions from reporters at Camp David after the meeting, called Wolff a "fraud" and said the book is "a complete work of fiction". Five days later, Bannon was out. At the time, it was reasonable to worry that he might be poised to do even more damage in building the far right outside of the White House than inside. He told others he was proud of his performance and thought the exchange went well.

"You can imagine a lawsuit against WikiLeaks for inducing infringement or contributing to infringement", said Eugene Volokh, a professor at the University of California at Los Angeles who has taught copyright law. "It's very smart on his part".

Stephen Bannon, President Donald Trump's chief strategist, has faced criticism for his background overseeing Breitbart News, with Democrats touting numerous racially tinged and misogynistic headlines that went up under his watch. He issued a statement Sunday praising the president's eldest son. "This needs to move beyond talking heads and be met with action and discipline", Reed said. There are no fractures.

First, because someone had to be. "Ran for president one time and won".

At some point after WikiLeaks tweeted the PDF file, Google took it down.

He only returned to the outlet over the summer, rejoining as as executive chairman, after being ousted from the White House. I see these people put everything they have got into their jobs and into respecting and trusting the president. I want them to talk about racism every day. Twenty-seven psychiatrists, including those from top universities, have described Mr. Trump's mental state as "dangerous"; some have called for an emergency evaluation of his mental capacity.

Putting aside the question of whether the Democratic Party is the same thing as the left, this is the heart of Bannonism: that right-wing racism is a more powerful force than left wing anti-racism.

Bannon stumped for unsuccessful Senate candidate Roy Moore in Alabama despite the sexual misconduct allegations against Moore.
