Mauricio Pochettino has 'a certain weakness for Zinedine Zidane'

13 Octubre 2017

Zidane will only take a decision over his future at the end of the season, if the French federation will call him, the Frenchman will leave Real Madrid to become the new boss of Les Blues.

Getafe meanwhile have made a solid return to the Liga Santander and promise to mix solid defense with effectiveness from set pieces, something Madrid's sometimes less than solid defence will have to be aware of. Zidane was in charge of both successful campaigns, and also won Europe's elite club competition as a player during the 2001-02 season, scoring a spectacular volley in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.

But Odriozola has aimed to play down that speculation, insisting he is happy to continue at the Basque club.

"They've proved that and, honestly, I have a certain weakness for Zinedine Zidane, as a footballer and now".

1 - Zidane is the first Madrid coach to remain unbeaten in his first three Clasicos as a visitor to Camp Nou (W2 D1). "I had a lot of luck because in different moment in my life, I found good people, who knew me and really cared about me", he said of his time with the Barcelona-based side. "This is the big difference today".

Gareth Bale is still out with a calf injury, while Mateo Kovacic, Dani Carvajal and Keymor Navas are also out, that will see Kiko Casilla get a rare chance in goal, but most eyes are likely to be on Cristiano Ronaldo.
