Xiaomi Takes On The MacBook Pro With Mi Notebook Pro

After announcing the Mi Notebook Air last year, Xiaomi has announced a new notebook for the masses.The new Mi Notebook Pro is the company's newest laptop and no prizes for guessing the inspiration for the notebook. Additionally, glass front of the Mi Notebook Pro has been bolstered by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Xiaomi has paid attention to details with the Mi Notebook Pro. The laptop also offers the users with a touchpad which comes with a fingerprint sensor integrated on it. This is a really cool and innovative feature from Xiaomi.

It may be wiser to "settle" for the ceramic - aluminum combo though, since it's considerably cheaper and also headed for more territories in supposedly decent numbers.

However, it is the pricing and the operating system that separates the two. It also supports Microsoft Windows Hello. It comes with a new improved keyboard which according to Xiaomi President, Lin Bin, would provide an enhance typing experience. These include a 3-in-1 SD slot, data USB Type C, full function USB Type C, HDMI, 2 x USB 3.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The battery promises 60Wh of power, along with support for 1C quick charge.
