The Journal report indicated that progress on the smart speaker is being hampered by Bixby. On the connectivity front, the device offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and a micro USB port. The handset measures 156.6 x 77.2 x 6.7 mm and weighs 165 grams. However the executive didn't name the exact date, which is rumoured to be the 23 of August. Similarly, the 32GB version is available for Rs.13,490.00. Whilst Samsung's near-deified Galaxy S8 does have a sleeker, sharper and larger display, and features iris scanning to boot, its astronomical price tag may put consumers off, understandably so at £679.
You might think that fiasco would deter Samsung from rushing the Galaxy Note 8 this year, but apparently not.
The Galaxy S8's most impressive feature is by far its screen. Apparently, there is a new smartphone which is also expected to launch very soon.
The Galaxy Note 8 will be yet another pivotal release for Samsung. While the details on this particular SoC is scarce at this point, it is expected to be a slightly tweaked version of the Snapdragon 820 CPU, with better GPU and modem. This seems true as the device has already received WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA) and Bluetooth certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). Well, according to a trusted source of Droid Life, one of them could be available in the US as early as tomorrow. That could be one of the reasons why the Galaxy Note 8 is arriving a few weeks earlier than expected. It would mean a lot to us. This somewhat defeats the purpose of an edge-to-edge display. The smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor along with 6GB RAM. It is said to come with a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel camera on its front.
The app allows Bixby to activate the camera, take screenshots, toggle the flashlight, start up any application, and much more. We're guessing they ultimately will, but then again, market doesn't tend to forget easily.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Gadgets 360 reports that the tech giant paid $43 million for its 100 percent stake in the Greek firm. In the tweet, it is mentioned that the new Galaxy C7 (2017) will be a dual camera smartphone.
